Swings of Death.
(tm My Brother 1980. As we sat side by side in our swings, waiting for others to fill up the ride, and my 6 years older than me brother sat there, whispering in a loud scary-ass whisper, "These are the Swings of Death, Dawn. See that bolt at the top, holding on your swing? That one, rusty, thin bolt is all that holds you onto this spinning top. Look at it. It looks like it is just about worn completely through! You are sure to go flying in your swing off this ride, and into the parking lot, bang, dead on the ground."
I call them frightening!

That was called the "YoYo" at the amusement park where I grew up. One of my favorite rides.
