Exciting!
I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm totally jealous. The closest I've ever gotten to Vanuatu is meeting the Tongan Consul General (and that's not very close at all).
Oh maaaaaaan.... I am so jealous. Dude, our honeymoon consisted of a cruise to San Diego, Catalina, and Ensenada. In San Diego we were ripped off by one of those bicycle touring guys. In Ensenada we went to see the blow hole where there was litter all over and the second we stepped off the bus we were accosted by poor, dirty, little kids trying to sell us stuff, which made us feel bad. And the cruise ship made us feel sick whenever we were in our tiny little windowless cabin due to the recycled air that goes from one cabin to another. But, overall, hey, a honeymoon is a honeymoon. I think Catalina was the best part. We got to go kayaking, which was fun. Okay! Sorry for the pity party! LOL I hope you have loads of fun, which I know you will! And congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!
Oh, Vanuatu! You don't know me, obviously, but I stumbled upon your blog and then stumbled upon your Flickr account so here I am. But what I started this post to say was that you should read this book: www.amazon.com/Getting-Stoned-Savages-Through-Islands/dp/... - written by a guy & his wife who spent a few years on the islands. It's pretty entertaining, a fun read for sure! Actually if you WANT it I was going to drop it at the GoodWill so I could just send it your way if you're even mildly interested. OK totally coming off as a stalker but whoops sorry...! Beautiful invitations, btw.
Oh, nice choice! I've wanted to go to Vanuatu ever since I was their fake ambassador for the Model UN in high school. Can't wait to see your pictures.
