Before there was William and Kate, there was Leah and Simon. The latter got married a week before the former, and the good news for me is that we were actually invited to this one, as opposed to having to watch the whole thing on a jumbotron in a park with 300,000 other people.

Look, I am only going to say this once: if you fly, on a plane, with any regularity, there is something you need. I have decided that I can no longer fly without mine, and the few times I've tried to do it, I have regretted it instantly. No, it is not a lifesize cutout of Prince Harry*, but it is pretty close in its awesomeness.

I’ve been traveling quite a bit recently, which is probably how I came to have three colds in three months. It’s infuriating to me, this having three colds in three months, because I’m not a particularly “sick” person. I can go years without so much as a sniffle and then suddenly bam, bam, bam, three colds in three months and before you know it I’ve bought stock in Nyquil and turned into one of those people who carries around their own tissues, and I’m not talking about a discreet little packet of tissues, I’m talking about a box.
You may recall that we have conquered Paris before. We had such a good time doing it, in fact, that we decided to go back again. This time, however, we only had twelve hours.
Wait, what? Twelve hours in Paris? How does that happen?
There is pretty much only one rule when you're traveling and it is this: don't wear new shoes.
I am back from my trip to Savannah and Charleston and I am tired. Seriously, I don't know what's wrong with me: I am just KNOCKED. OUT. See how I put the periods between the words "knocked" and "out" like that? That is to show I mean business! That is to show you how serious I am about being tired!
I told you all about the Royal Wedding and the spontaneous 12-hour side trip my sister and I took to Paris, but I didn't really tell you about the rest of my time in London, which is something I only realized yesterday when I found a batch of pictures on my camera I'd forgotten to download and thought "oh, right!
