Oil of Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream

So my Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream ran out and I was looking for something new. It's not that I didn't like the Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream anymore, more that I was just too lazy to order it, pay for shipping, then wait a week for it to arrive. My skin was looking parched and thirsty and---just between you, me, and the rest of the Internet---not unlike old shoe leather. I needed something now.
I'd heard good things about Olay's Regenerist Microsculpting Cream---mostly that it was the poor man's Creme de la Mer---so I decided to take a chance. I've always had a soft spot for Olay products; that's what my mother has used for the entire time I've known her, and man, have you seen her lately? Something's working there, is all I'm saying.
So I walked to the drugstore and bought it---and this is where I should warn you that it's a little pricier than what you'd normally expect to pay for a drugstore cream---then slathered it on that very night. I slathered it on for the next 14 or so nights, in fact, and let me tell you, at first I was not particularly impressed. It moisturized, sure---my skin just drank it up, really---and I did notice that my face felt a lot softer, but it also made me break out like a 14-year-old boy. It wasn't all at once, the breaking out, more just that every few days I'd get one big zit in a really random place on my face. The zit would last approximately 48 hours, then disappear as soon as it arrived.......only to pave the way for a new one the next morning. In fact, I started taking bets on where the next one would appear.
But just when I was about to give up on this moisturizer altogether---yes, my skin was feeling soft and looking fairly radiant, but a person can only hide an unsightly whitehead IN THE CREASE OF HER NOSE for so long---a minor miracle happened. The final random zit disappeared, and one morning after applying the moisturizer before bed as usual, I woke up blemish-free. And then the next morning I woke up blemish-free too. And the next one and the next one and the next one after that. And now, as I type this, all the "training zits," as I like to call them, have gone away and this moisturizer is really getting down to business.
Which is to say, keeping my skin soft, smooth, glowy, and (dare I say it?) young-looking. Or at least younger-looking. I finally, finally love it. Though how much do you want to bet that I've jinxed myself now? Five bucks says I'll wake up with a brand new zit tomorrow morning.

I've always loved Oil of Olay too, but recently I've been leaning more towards Neutrogena (which has always been another favorite). A reader tipped me off to Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Face Cream and, holy freaking hell, my skin has NEVER looked this good. Ever. I have that skin I used to want to punch other girls for having. Plus, it's pretty cheap. You should give it a try next time. Or they have one with SPF, so you could use that during the day!

I'm totally going to buy it. Thanks, Holly :)

My face is roughly ten years older than your face, and it, too, loves the Olay. (I like to say "Ole!" out loud in my head each night as I grab the little red jar.)
It is a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. I love the ProX Deep Wrinkle Treatment too, which you are many years away from even needing to consider, Holly.

Many women need some of this and some behavior therapy, to keep their wrinkles under control.

This must be a good product because it's Oil of Olay. I've heard this name since I was a kind and my mother always use the first product of Oil of Olay....

Oil of Olay has really stepped it up lately. I hadn't liked their previous lines so despite the positive Olay Regenerist reviews, I was reluctant to try it, but now I'm glad I did.

I've just recently got the oil of olay...For my mothers sake im only nineteen and she had a recent trip to hell and back with this like 3-400$ cream hydro...something and it worsened her brown spots and made her face look oily and I mean oily....any way she said her face was so bad that by the end of it she had to run to the drugstore to purchase just a cheap, cheap cream...like not even namebrand and it helped within' the next couple of nights her brown spots had retreated...wow im thinkin'...Honestly I'm just thinking it is all a conspiracy really. Pay more and you'll really be paying alright...go with what ingrediants you understand and actually know what they mean and you'll be relieved of all the hardship your face had went through..My mother had no brown spots hard to believe but I'm thinking with all the good news I've heard about oil of olay regenerist...why not give it a shot...so hopefully it does not scam me and get my mother's face into a much worse predicament...wish me luck...;) I feel I will need it...hopefully I can trust your guy's comments..thanks for the advice...because I bought it ( and ya not nearly as "cheap" as expected...lol..so all im saying is it better be worth it oil of olay.lol

Tips to Reduce Eye Wrinkles
Limit Exposure to UV Rays - Sun exposure is one of the prime causes of wrinkles. •Use sunscreen with a minimum SPF 20. Be sure to re-apply every 2-3 hours when staying outdoors for any prolonged length of time.
•Do not use tanning booths. The UV exposure is the same if not worse that natural sunlight.
•Wear sunglasses with UV protective lenses.
Avoid Dehydration •Limit beverages containing caffeine or alcohol. These can cause dehydration making skin dry and increases appearance of wrinkles
•Limit nicotine. Smoking depletes the skin of much needed hydration.
•Drink plenty of water. Six to eight glasses of water daily is recommended

I have been using Olay Regenerist for 2 weeks now. My skin actually looks like it has a glow and its very moisterised. No more dryness in the corners of my nouse. I did get a couple little pimples on my face. Not sure if its because the creme is thick, but i dont mind because my skin looks great. I cant wait to see the difference when i finish the container.

So I am looking for a good night cream and didn't know where to turn for a recommendation. Rather than searching through of beauty products online, I was hoping to get the recommendation of someone I "know" (by that I mean someone whose blog I love), and I have not been dissapointed! Thank you!
