Method Hand Soap in "Toasted Hazelnut"

Picture 1.png

It's a sad day when the most exciting thing in your life is a new hand soap, I realize this, but Method just came out with a range of special holiday-themed fragrances and I don't know about you, but I love a special holiday-themed fragrance.

After an embarrassingly long time in front of the display at Target, trying to decide which one to buy---they're on sale there for $2.67!---I decided on the Toasted Hazelnut, for no other reason than I thought it would look pretty slick in my brown bathroom, and guess what, it totally does.

But, better than that, it smells like a dream! Like a toasty, nutty, fall-ish dream, a dream where you're wearing a sweater dress in November and drinking hot chocolate that may or may not be spiked with Baileys, and also you may or may not be drinking this hot chocolate around a bonfire with Jordan Catalano.

This hand soap smells pretty good, is what I'm saying, so good that I can't stop washing my hands. Seriously, I keep inventing excuses to wash my hands. Anyone have some manure they need me to pick up? A diaper to change? Some raw chicken to cut up? Anyone?

I so love fall scents! They all remind me of Thanksgiving and Christmas and being cozy by a fire! My favorites are pumpkin and cinnamon spice and basically anything else that comes out between the months of September and January. I'm sure toasted hazelnut is just lovely, as well.

i took a class at this woman's house a few months ago, and when i used the soap in her bathroom (trader joe's liquid french soap), i fell in love. i drove right from the class to trader joe's to buy it. after i wash my hands, which is now like ten times a day, i just sit on the couch and smell my hands. love it.

I still have a bottle of the Frosted Cranberry Method handsoap from a few holidays past sitting on my bathroom counter. I hoarded about five bottles of the stuff when it came out and I've now finally made it down to the last bottle. So sad.

I need to check out the Toasted Hazlenut- that might make for a good substitute for when I run out. :D

I grow inodinantly fond of hand soaps as well- I even wrote about how I won't use off brand hand soap. But sadly, I fear Method products as the free sample I got at BlogHer gave me a most horrible rash.

Thank you very much, Holly. Now I have to go to Target. And do you REALLY think I can go and ONLY buy fabulous soap?

I have a small tube of toasted hazelnut hand lotion from Bath & Body Works that I've been hoarding for a couple years. Every time I put it on my hands I just want to nibble them. (like most of their fragrances, a little goes a LONG way)

Wish I had a need for hand soap so I could justify purchasing this.

My wife and I bought this recently too, and I found this post on a google search and wondered. Does anyone else think this smells like buttered popcorn? I'm not sure i'm sold on it yet...

Not only that, the general cleaners are delish, too. I am LOVING the spiced pear, and I plan to stock up like a crazy person before it's discontinued.

I actually bought the brown Method soap just a few days ago because it matched my bathroom too - actually, it matches the brown accents in our bathroom. (Although I didn't realize it was a seasonal scent - so I might have to stockpile now). I LOVE IT! Also bought the one in the burgundy bottle for our guest bathroom becuase it matches teh shower curtain in there! Glad to hear I'm not the only one that uses this as a guideline for purchases (the same holds true for candles - they have to match the room or I dont' buy them).

I do this same thing with Trader Joe's Orange Blossom Honey hand soap. It smells so delicious!

I stocked up on the holiday method hand soaps last year because they matched two of my bathrooms. I still have a stock pile, thankfully, because this year's colors are not as good for my decorating schemes.

I've been stuck on Method Sweet Water soap for months now, but will give this one a shot for the Holidays. I actually found Method at Ulta, so it saved me considerable cash since I can't get out of Target without spending a fortune.
