Homemade Trader Joe's Commercial

Do you shop at Trader Joe's? If not, I can't imagine why. Personally, I'm obsessed with Trader Joe's and this home-made commercial---which, damn, I wish I'd thought of---will explain it all. Long live five different flavors of lemonade!

Holy hell, that was at least seven different kinds of awesome. Am totally going into Atlanta to hit TJ's this weekend, now. (Why oh why oh why doesn't my town have a TJ's? TINY CRUNCHY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, I'M COMING!

Oh, how I also love Trader Joe's and it's fantastically priced wines and chocolates! I wish they'd move closer to my house. Sigh.

That is AWESOME. And the music - totally "Trader Joe's". I forgot how much I enjoy shopping there. Now I am compelled to go and buy "the cereal shaped like a little man"!!!

I am OBSESSED with Trader Joe's. At least once a week I am trying to sell one of their products to a friend or a co-worker while exclaiming "It's healthy! And CHEAP!!! Trust me!" People assume it's expensive cause the food is "fancy" or somethin', but it's NOT! Oh man, every time I walk in there it's like sensory overload. I could write a dissertation on all my favorite products. And yes, I am still hoarding peppermint Joe Joes from the holidays. Mmmmmmm

What is this, a conspiracy? Just because I live in beautiful-300-days-of-sunshine-a-year Denver, 3/4 of my blogroll HAS to keep shoving it in my face that there are NO Trader Joe's in the central part of the United States, let alone Colorado? We like quirky grocery stores! (see: Whole Foods, Sunflower and the entire CITY of Boulder) we like bells! WHY can't we have a bell?

What a perfect little tribute to the perfect grocery store. Perfect with the exception of the parking lots. It's nice to know Chicago isn't the only place with small Trader Joe's parking lots.

Do they really have some sort of electro-force-field thing that prevents you from pushing your cart into the parking lot?
This brings up a lot of questions for me about people with prosthetics. ;)

I totally heart Trader Joe's! I wish they would come to Canada. Thankfully I live in a suburb of Vancouver that's very close to the border, so I will often make a run to the closest one in Washington. I was just there on Sunday, and stocked up on all my favourite things. If it came to Canada, I would be so happy!

Aaaah, it's the SF TJ's parking lot! I think I've been in that store exactly one time, because I'm usually driving past the lines of cars blocking traffic and fuming.... on my way to the Andronico's in the Sunset. Not quite the same.

Beautiful! I emailed the link to all my friends! Totally sums up why I love it there...

Anna, yep it's the TJs on Geary and Masonic! I went to that location once and it was the death of me. I have NEVER BEEN IN SUCH A CROWDED STORE IN MY LIFE. Attention San Franciscans: there is a beautiful, uncrowded, wide-aisled Trader Joe's in North Beach as well! Wait, don't go there actually. I like having it all to myself.

Why? Because we don't have one in my entire state. The nearest one is 280 miles away. Yes, I have actually mapped this.

Seriously, they didn't want him to photograph the place? They're cool and I adore TJ's, but they obviously have no clue about the effectiveness of viral advertising!

Oooh, there's another one? Really? Mwahahahaha, I am going to check. It. Out!

Ok that was awesome! The downside of life overseas--no TJ's :(

I read the little signs, I love that the inventory is ever changing, and the shelves are empty because everybody hearts TJ's. It does sum up why I love TJ's but all of what I paint in a love is blind light. This felt a little eye-opening and I'm not sure I'm okay with that.
